I am having the same problem. It only began recently, but after I purchased an iphone SE (supposedly the equivalent of an iphone 8). I did not know if it was a device problem or a trouble with an updated Seeking Alpha app. As you point out, information technology refreshes and then frequently (sometimes every 10 seconds) that the articles get unreadable. It takes me the total 10 seconds to page down to where I was when it refreshed.

I was just nearly to make a similar feedback topic but here I am with people who're experiencing the same as I. iPhone here likewise though XR. Latest update on the telephone and the app. I detect this mostly happens in the areas that have ads in them. One time I hit an ad or it stalls loading, back to the summit!

I have found a workaround. Ready up a Seeking Aloha account on your laptop or desktop and enquire for notifications on your topics of involvement, then delete the app from your phone. When y'all get a phone notification of an article, open it. Then because yous don't take the app, it volition ask you to sign in which you lot tin do using your Google or Facebook account. You tin then read the article without the refreshing problem! Information technology is clearly a issues in the app.

same bug here. Terminate focusing on cramming ads and become the UI working for your users.

I have posted this issue numerous times, It is relatively new. I have an older iPad without looking upwardly IOS number, it is always updated properly on my end but non recently (no button downs from Apple tree) in other words.
so, nothing has changed. I cannot write blog commentaries considering the manufactures are "updating" - does anyone at SA read this? I think not. The lights are on and no one is home. Years ago SA could be contacted and someone eventually would reply. Now zero.

yep. Get with the program.

One more reader here who finds the SA iPhone app unusable due to the continual refreshing. I'yard non going to carp trying further until this issues is fixed.

If SA wishes to squelch commentary on its readers commentary section all it needs to do is continue to do what it is doing: Nothing.

Past the mode, although I sure hope SA can prepare this problems presently, I'm afraid this problem is a symptom of the typical corporate concern cycle.
ane) Showtime off with an innovative idea and a dedicated group owners who are passionate about launching their new business.
2) Lookout your business grow rapidly as word of mouth spreads about the slap-up new product.
three) Start focusing on monetizing the business to support the costs and generate income.
4) Become obsessed with making money to the detriment of the original vision and let quality concerns take a backseat to cutting costs.
v) Spotter customers outset to drift away in search of a better option. This evolution happens over and over once more in the corporate world.
I have discovered a good alternative to SA recently: StoryTrading is a website run cooperatively by several very experienced and highly successful investors, who have been whipping the indexes with their stock picks. Cheque information technology out and you won't have to put up with the preponderance of mediocre content that has go SA;

I will investigate. Your chronology of business organization growth and death was well washed. Thank you.

yup. Uninstalled the app and using browser instead. Feel like it's 2012. That's like the Stone Age.

I have been having the same issue for most a week or so on my iPhone. Works fine on my desktop.
I do believe information technology is related to the ads refreshing and this is simply abysmal.
If/when they gear up this will they allow the states know hither? Non that I'm entirely optimistic they will prepare it soon, but they really should even from a elementary business perspective. If we can read the articles nosotros also won't encounter the ads they are trying to push on us. Your move, SA.

I utilise the web site via SA'due south daily emails on my iPad. I doubtable this is the digital equivalent of simply using the App. Then I can't jettison as I never bear around my Mac.
Cheers nevertheless for weighing in to help, more than SA will practice these days.

Unfortunately Seeking Alpha is one of millions of companies depending on the increasingly tiresome COVID excuse which goes something like "Why is your customer service and then terrible/non-real now?" Answer "Considering of Covid" Answer "Oh, OK"
Information technology is this way for countless industries. How long is the Covid excuse they rely upon going to be acceptable?

For equally long as people who pay accept it. It is way of the Brave New World ans SA is part of the "people be damned" ethos of our time.

I had the aforementioned trouble of articles reloading themselves. I found a solution and posted information technology on a like thread here. I'll mail service it again here in case some of you didn't run across information technology. Then my iPhone had an unrelated problem called Ghost Touch where apps would open without me touching the screen and other things going on. Yous can Google how to fix Ghost Touch for the type of phone you have. What's strange is that one time I fixed this "unrelated" problem on my phone, all my seeking blastoff manufactures no longer reloaded themselves. Everything with seeking blastoff went back to normal. Weird how fixing one problem actually solved some other just it worked! Then I went into Settings and so clicked Full general and then at the bottom clicked Reset then at the top clicked on Reset All Settings. Your phone volition reboot itself and y'all'll have to reset things similar wallpaper ringtones alert sounds, etc etc but for me it was well worth information technology. And no more articles reloading themselves. It's great and for me was worth the fourth dimension. Hope this helps.

I capeesh your response. I respect the fact SA needs (and must) earn coin, however this is just an IT glitch that can be addressed and undoubtedly corrected.
Otherwise it kills thoughtful commentaries rather than i or ii line bulldoze-by sniping.
I noticed it happened today (July 18, 2021 and and so long as SA offers gratis access (to a certain extent) this glitch is deleterious to draw new subscribers.
Thank you for your concern, hope it can exist remedied.
